my birthday, i guess. showed up november 16th. was actually sleeping for once too, go figure.

Have you considered complaining at the Admin about the loss of precious sleep by way of creepy skeleton-santa?

Wouldn't know one way or the other. Never really knew much about either thing. What do you even call a gift-giver who isn't part of some holiday anyway?

I mean, that's fair. You could just strongly suggest that they ask the skeleton to make sure someone was awake before scaring the daylights out of them, then.

never bothered telling anyone my birthday back home, besides my wife. and i told her no goddamn parties, either. got the feeling my friends would try throwing me one, so i just never told them when it was. worked out pretty well.

And that makes sense. Didn't really have anyone who would do the same, I don't think, but parties never meant much either.

Not so much that they're not a thing, though. More like I just don't really have any friends or family to speak of, and it was never really a priority when I did.
